Per il mio fine settimane ho fatto un sacco di lavoro, ma allo stesso tempo non ho fatto niente. Sabato, ho iniziata il lavoro per la mia tesina. Ho avuto due lezioni prima per la bozza della mia tesina, ma adesso devo cambiare gli errori, cambiare la mia bibliografia e anche iniziare il "coding" per la mia ricerca per le pubblicità che ho trovato nelle città abbiamo visitato.
Poi, dopo il lavoro, abbiamo dovuto andare alla Vodafone. Il mio blackberry aveva molti problemi con gli SMS e quindi la Vodafone, la sorella compagnia di Verizon forse avrebbe potuto aiutarmi. Sono andata alla Vodafone e ho aspettato per approssivamente trenta minuti. C'erano molte person con dei problemi di telefonino. Ero nervosa perché dovevo parlare in italiano con un soggetto con più parole difficili. Comunque, per mia sorpresa la donna mi ha capito ma lei non poteva aiutarmi. Perché il mio Blackberry era in inglese, lei non poteva risolvere i problemi. Comunque mi è piaciuta questa esperienza perché mi ha aiutato con il mio italiano. Inoltre, era interessante perché c'è molto parole inglese per le parole per il telefonino e quindi, penso che ho usato italiano quando potevo usare inglese.
Domenica nella mattina, Lea, Lindsey ed io siamo andate a Nervi solo per 2 ore per prendere un po' di sole. Ho incontrato una donna in spiaggia che ha parlato sempre di come era il tempo caldo. Dopo Nervi sono ritornata a casa mia e ho lavorato di nuovo. Mi sento che ci sarà sempre lavoro per la mia tesina :( Adesso, sono pronta per le Terme/Torino! Questo perché "The Sound of Music" è il mio film preferito è come Elisabetta ha detto le Alpi Italiane sono simile alle alpi in "The Sound of Music." Forse potrò essere Julia Andrews per un giorno :)

For my weekend I did a lot of work, but at the same time I didn't do anything. Saturday, I started working on my thesis. I had two classes to draft my thesis, but now I need to fix the errors, change my bibliography, and also start coding for my research for the advertisements that I have found in the cities we have visited.
Then, after work, we needed to go to Vodafone. My blackberry had lots of problems with SMS and therefore Vodafone, the sister company of Verizon, maybe could have been able to help me. I went to Vodafone and I waited for approximately thirty minutes. There were a lot of people with cell phone problems. I was nervous because I needed to speak in Italian about a difficult subject. However, to my surprise the woman had understood me but wasn't able to help me. Because my Blackberry was in English, she wasn't able to fix the problems. However I liked this experience because it helped me with my Italian. Furthermore, it was interesting because there are many English words that are used for cell phones and therefore, I think that I used Italian when I was able to use English.
Sunday morning, Lea, Lindsey and I went to Nervi only for 2 hours to tan for a bit. I met a woman on the beach who continuously talked about how the weather was hot. After Nervi I returned to my house and worked again. I feel that there will always be work for my thesis. :( Now, I am ready for Terme/Torino! This is because "The Sound of Music" is my favorite movie and like Elisabetta said, the Italian Alps are similar to the Alps in "The Sound of Music." Maybe I can be Julia Andrews for a day :)
