Here is the story of student Sammy Falgiani about her experience at Cinque Terre. The Italian description is first and the English translation follows it.
Le Cinque Terre sono il paese più bello che ho mai visto nella mia vita! L'acqua del mare è chiara e un bel colore blu! Il mare era un po freddo ma il sole era tanto caldo! Che forte era il sole! Ho preso il sole e ho nuotato tutto il pomeriggio. Dopo un treno alla prossima terra, la mia amica Mary e io abbiamo mangiato una pizza margherita. Tutti degli studenti hanno preso un autobus per un po' alla prossima fermata. Il panorama era bellissimo alla cima della montagna. Ho potuto vedere il mare e case di differenti colori e più montagne in distanza. Abbiamo scoperto che non era una possibilità prendere un'altro autobus al nostro ostello. Abbiamo camminato e la passeggiata era bellissima. La città con il nostro ostello era molto vecchia ed era la vista d'Italia che avevo nella mia testa prima di essere venuti qui. Questa era la mia prima volta che sono stata a un ostello. Con le persone che conosco, non era molto male. L'uomo che gestisce l'ostello era buffo per nulla in specifico.
La gente qui era molto gentile. Quando abbiamo camminato sulle strade, la gente diceva, "Buonasera." Ho fatto molte foto di Cinque Terre. Ho fatto una piccola passeggiata con le mie amiche Mary e Jess. Forse ho fatto troppo ma, non ho voluto perdere niente perché ho solo un'occasione per fare le foto qui per il mio libro. La mattina dopo molto prima, delle 7, ci siamo svegliate. Abbiamo preso un autobus e dopo che abbiamo camminato, ho camminato da sola tra una terra e l'altra però volevo camminare fino alla fine. Era meglio fare le foto. Il panorama di tutto era sempre bellissimo. Io e altri studenti abbiamo preso un battello fino alla spiaggia deve eravamo stati il giorno prima. Di nuovo ho mangiato una buona pizza margherita e dopo non sono partita della spiaggia tutto giorno fino a quando era l'ora prendere il treno. Nel mare, non ho visto niente pesce! Non ho incontrato molte persone qui. Poi, non ho avuto molte occasione quando un italiano parla con me.L'Italia è bellissima e molto divertente ma desidero andare qui con i miei migliori amici. Ma, in futuro, saprò funzionare meglio qui!

Cinque Terre is the most beautiful land that I have ever seen in my life! The ocean is clear and a beautiful shade of blue. The ocean was a bit cold but the sun was very hot! The sun was strong! I sunbathed and swam all afternoon. After the train to the next land, my friend Mary and I ate a pizza margherita. All of the students took a bus for a bit to the next stop. The panorama was lovely at the top of the mountain. I was able to see the ocean and colorful things and more mountains in the distance. We discovered that there wasn't a possibility to take another bus to our hostel. We walked and it was very beautiful. The city with our hostel was very old and was the vision of Italy that I had in my head before coming here. This was my first time being in a hostel. From the people that I know, it was not that bad. The man that manages the hostel was funny for no particular reason.
Italy is extremely beautiful and very enjoyable but I would like to come here with my best friends. But, in the future, I will be able to function better here!
